R290 News

New regulations regarding R290 are continously being evaluated and implemented in various national and international forums regarding its use as a safe and acceptable alternative to environmentally harmful refrigation gasses.  The most recent SNAP rule proposal by the EPA will be a significant move forward for adoption of R290 throughout the US for commercial applications.  This includes proposed expansion for newly manufactured water coolers, ice machines and low temperature refrigeration and exemptions on venting from the Clean Air Act.
